Used to live in Korea with his older brother and parents. Has good memories of his mother but not so many of his father since he was always working abroad in Japan. His father was having an affair with a lady in Japan while Euan was growing up. When his mother found out she fell into bad drinking habits and became an alcoholic sooner to start abusing him and his brother. Even though this is fact Euan’s mother was the only one he’s felt comfort with no matter what!! When his father got word that she was unstable he went back to Korea and took custody of the two.
Euan moved to Japan at the age of 10 (his brother 14) and continued to live under his father. He hadn’t contacted his mother since but she had later fallen ill and passed away before he could have the chance to. His father was and still is the CEO of a large running business (house security technology) His father re married and even though they lived under his roof, Euan was never close to his father since he never spent time with him when he was younger. His father for the most part only took Euan and his brother in for one of them to inherit his business. Euan finds out about his fathers affair and blames him entirely for what happened to his mother. However because of his father he did grow up from then on living a luxurious life and basically getting everything he pleased. (His father replaced love with objects) This manifested into unhealthy thinking habits.
His father took more interest in his older brother for his job position since he was the oldest and seemed to be handling the changes to their life fairly better than Euan was. Around this time his father began to think of Euan as a nuisance and would constantly compare him with his older brother. (He didn’t really like looking at Euan either because of how similar he resembles his mother lol) Him and his brother were once close when they were younger but their relationship weakened as they grew up under their Dad. (They were too different to get along I guess lol) Euan being a more talkative and an outgoing kid on the outside and his older brother being more reserved and busy studying in likes of their Dad. Despite this however and aside from Euan knowing- his brother does care about Euan.
When Euan hit puberty he began showing early signs of anti social personality disorder being, using people for his own benefit, lying, and began viewing himself above others. (I like to think he inherited this from his father) He went about his early teenage years as a sort of a soft rebel since he stopped listening to his father but still stayed in school and got the highest scoring grades for his own social benefit.
He was and is still one of the most popular kids in school due to him having the looks, high grades, good athletic capabilities, good in communication and wealth. He continues showing traits of ASPD and uses those traits to manipulate the people around him so people at school don’t know his real intentions and thoughts.
At the age of 16 his father not wanting to deal with Euan anymore got him his own apartment. His apartment is owned by his father and he continues to fund Euan. (Which is why Euan has big bread, isn’t exactly his money though lol) His father sees this as just casually funding his son and not having to care for him personally.
In the present Euan does have medications his older brother provides him for his ASPD but he doesn’t take them since he believes nothing is wrong with him. His older brother constantly gets on him about taking them since he genuinely wants him to improve his behavior.
For the next three years Euan has lived alone he has made secret improvements to his apartment.
He is Vice President of his grade and comes in 2nd at the best grades in the whole school.
He is also apart of the soccer club and takes extra college classes on Saturday.
He’s a masochist. (Early stages of it were when his mother started physically abusing him, he tried to cope with it by telling himself it was a form of care- other times were him taking humiliation and mental pain from his father and turning that into a form of attention and gratification- so his mind linked pain to something good which then formed into him finding pleasure is physical pain)
He’s a big fan of the punk aesthetic and music genre.
He has always had a high need for stimulation since he can get bored easily (with people especially) so he doesn’t have close connections at all. Basically in constant need of ways to help pass time that aren’t ultimately boring to him.
