Personality:  A child prodigy raised pampered and coddled, Lute grew up never being told no- but also having strict expectations put upon them. Never talk back, never eat too fast or too slow, never chew with your mouth open- while it may seem simple they also were subject to stricter than normal demands such as ‘never untuck your shirt’ ‘never step beside others’, ‘never speak louder than your company’- things that grated on a young Lute to no end.  Rebellion took the shape of malicious compliance, and as they became an adult, they began to grow more and more malicious towards others who saw them only as the ‘perfect person’. Eventually, after leaving their parent’s and being on their own and working for a while, they mellowed, taking their sadistic joy from the same malicious compliance as before but now less due to hostility and more to the fact they enjoyed it.  Being raised the way they were, they have trust issues that manifest best in a constant pessimism, masked with a passive voice, a smile, and an otherwise agreeable manner; most might not think Lute is anything but ‘nice’. Lute can be and in general is nice, but to those who treat them with higher than average expectations, or, with the general belief that they are ‘a good person’ are those Lute takes the most pleasure in proving wrong. Making others uncomfortable socially is their favorite thing.
