Buttercream

Buttercream runs an aviary rescue. Despite not being able to fly as she is a unicorn, her magic aides her in caring for injured birds and incubating orphaned eggs or chicks. Her cutie mark represents her caring and warm nature, and connection to winged creatures. She heavily envies those who have wings, her deepest wish is to be able to take flight with the birds she so deeply cares for. The closest thing she has though is to sit and watch the birds she has rehabilitated fly and daydream of joining them.

She has a hard time making friends, as she has been left and used by many before, so she has some tall and thick walls built around her heart. But those who take the time to work and prove they have true and genuine intentions will, in the end, gain a loyal and caring friend. She has a dry sense of humor and can be a bit flighty (pun intended), and is mistaken as offstandish and rude. But in actuality she is just wary and has a hard time judging the barriers of others. She is a good judge of character most of the time, due to her heightened connection to emotions through years of seeing “friends” come and go. She truly just wants companionship and to give her heart to someone who is patient with her and puts in the effort to prove they have good intentions.
