ABOUT ...
Fides....grew up in difficult times. Their family lived in a seedy part of Techtopia, full of those in the Union, who mostly rejected society. The war in 2380 hardened them, and taught them that the Union was wrong about technology. Full of scars, and blinded, from something called "thunder," they switched sides, being set free from the unworn shackles. That thunder...almost...killed them. But as those old schoolbooks always said, "Whatever doesn't kill you, makes you stronger."

- Fides is actually related to Ace of Spades. They both grew up in the same town, but Spades "drank the mental Kool aid" that his Union town gave to him.
