Personality: 

He enjoys following the rules and to a certain extent, enforcing them. He is more aloof than cold, and tends not to notice people talking to him unless they address him specifically (he's always lost in thought). He is stern and sometimes harsh when dealing with someone who has broken the law, and tends to hold (though not express) grudges. He's a rational guy but even if he sees something that doesn't make sense, he tends not to stand up to authority. 

Appearance: 

He has straight black hair and dark brown eyes, and pale skin. His build is on the wiry / slim side and his features are fine (in a masculine way). His clothes are generally loose if left up to him, but for formal occasions he lets his mom choose his clothes haha. He does care what people think of him so he keeps his appearance palatable. 

Abilities: 

Although he is Class 1.1 (the highest in the BDD/ part of the elite), many suspect he got there through dubious means since not many people have seen him in a proper fight. Chun is a highly skilled mage, probably one of the best in the city and definitely in the top three for white magic in particular. He's also well versed in fighting with staves/ pole weapons (kinda like in wushu), and is more than capable of holding his own in a fight. However, his fighting style is usually to provide support with his protective and healing magic, and leave the fighting to the others.

Back Story: 

Chun's family migrated over from China a long time ago and has established itself in its name and affluence. Besides owning a multi-national corporation dealing with medicine (both 'modern' and 'traditional'), the family also owns several fighting schools known for churning out highly skilled fighters.

Growing up in wealth and with his family in the spotlight, Chun is pretty used to attention so he keeps as low a profile as he can outside of this family. His mother was (and still is, to some extent) a very controlling woman, and his father is fairly obsessed with not 'losing face' so Chun was brought up in a rigid environment. He does have a good relationship with them, though, since he developed an appreciation for rules and regulations and knows his parents love him in their own ways. 

He was a skinny and small kid growing up, and never really fit in at school because he was the known 'rich kid'. He was often bullied and got into fights to prove himself. Eventually the bullying stopped once people realized he wasn't to be trifled with. He was careful not to get into fights that would be witnessed, or on school grounds, so he wouldn't get into trouble at school. He was a teacher's pet because he always followed the rules and was a straight-A student.

He was expected to honour the family name but thankfully isn't the business heir - he has an elder brother - so he focuses on demon hunting/ managing the fighting schools (which he also teaches at). He is often underestimated since people have the (erroneous) perception that he's not as good as his credentials suggest.

He mostly spends his days at two fighting schools in the city (training or doing admin), and his evenings/ some nights/ free days fighting demons in various re-spawn pockets notorious for high-level demons (he doesn't have a fixed team; he provides support as and when he feels like). He's also the newest member on the mage council in the BDD, but isn't taken very seriously. :c
