Cyrus isn't an assassin for the money. The money is a plus, sure, but that's not why he does it. No, he enjoys the thrill of it all. It's the only think he finds enjoyment in and will do it at any given opportunity. But, Cyrus isn't an idiot; he won't kill just anyone right away. He will weigh the pros and cons first, checking to see if the decision would harm him personally.
