Casey "Space Case" O'Hara

Casey lives with a single dad and her little brother, Conner, in a small house in Portland, Oregon. Her dad works in aviation, and Casey always loved playing with the model planes he had around the house. Casey has always dreamed of being an engineer and flying planes that she's designed. Casey's mom left her dad when Casey was five for always "having his head up in the clouds", and Casey has grown up the exact same way. She often stares off into space and daydreams, thinking up new designs to build. This often occurs during conversations with other people, giving her the nickname "Spacey Casey" or "Space Case" for short. Despite her spacey behavior, Casey has a group of three friends who have known each other since fifth grade, and they've never showed a disinterest in Casey because of her behavior. Casey's room is a mess with her stuff strewn all over the place, and she has models of things she's designed on every available surface.

Casey is very sweet, but her constant daydreams make it hard to talk to her. She's very joyful and is always excited to start working on her next project. She's never missed her mom and feels perfectly fine with her family being the way it is. She gathers inspiration from things around her and plans them out right where she is at the moment. Casey is very friendly and always enjoys talking to people, even though she may seem disinterested.
