Gladys is a short, fat woman with a large bust and wide hips. Her skin is ghostly pale with a slight pink hue to it, her complexion being mostly composed of freckles. In place of irises, Gladys’ wide yet tired eyes have little pink roses, something that only occurred after she had died. Pre-death her eyes were amber colored, just like her mother’s. Gladys’ nose is on the smaller side, and best described as a “button.” Her lips are often painted red, her lower lip being slightly larger than her upper.
Her heart-shaped face is framed by bright, unnatural red hair. Her hair is very, very curly and long, running down to roughly the top of her hips.
Gladys’ interest in fashion could be described as vintage with subtle goth influences. She has experience with sewing, knitting and crochet and as a result makes a lot of her own clothing as well as obtaining items from thrifting. She wears a lot of reds and pinks and likes to dress warm, but also isn’t afraid of showing skin. While not always the case, she often isn’t one for wearing pants.
She owns many pairs of cartoonishly large earrings and matches them to her outfits.

Gladys is a very grumpy girl, her face always bearing a sour, unimpressed expression. She’s quite enigmatic in nature and not very social, either, despite moving in and out of social circles seemingly with ease. She deals with borderline personality disorder, and as a result struggles with relationships and has a very destructive, explosive attitude. She also deals with impulsivity, which isn’t helped with her ADHD.
The way she presents herself as well as her nature often leads to people assuming she is stupid and obsessed with her appearance, or a “bimbo.” Despite this Gladys is actually a very smart and caring person, she just doesn’t show it.
Gladys also deals with extreme emotions, specifically love. She is very, very obsessive when it comes to romance and intimacy, her perception of these experiences being extremely warped. She experiences love to a degree to where it is painful and consuming, even deadly, and she still feels that the strength and passion of her love is not enough.
She also has a very high sense of empathy, and can read even the most stoic people in a heartbeat. As a result she can be a good person to turn to for comfort when one is upset.
While not often, she will use people’s own feelings against themselves and doesn’t take much issue with hurting other people depending on who it is.
She’s especially ruthless toward those who give her a bad attitude first. She isn’t afraid of matching other people’s energy and treating others how they treat her.

SECTION FOUR 💗 . HISTORY 💗 . ･*˚⁺‧͙ 🌹.◞
Gladys was born to a young couple, her mother being a recent high school graduate and her father a college freshman from Germany attending school in the United States. At a young age she would begin showing signs of gender dysphoria and euphoria, her parents quickly caught onto this and began referring to her as their daughter. Her mother’s conservative family would immediately take issue with this, throwing accusations of abuse, neglect and irresponsibility toward her parents.
Unfortunately a conservative court would take these accusations seriously, and Gladys would be separated from her parents and placed into the care of her aunt. Her aunt would then move to New York, completely severing communication with Gladys’ parents. Her aunt would become horrifically abusive, forcing Gladys to detransition, emotionally neglecting her, practically torturing her and treating her as a domestic servant rather than a child to be cared for and loved.
The abuse would continue until just before Gladys’ sixteenth birthday, where her aunt would ship her off to boarding school back in Michigan.
While attending boarding school she would be bullied by her peers and targeted by staff members, but she would finally make friends, Tawny being a classmate and Thomasin being a student from a different school who walked by the boarding school to get to and from work frequently.
The three of them would become fast friends, Thomasin even developing feelings for Gladys.
They regularly broke rules with each other, even going as far as to sneak out of school and breaking curfew to hang out together.
One of these instances would prove fatal, as while breaking curfew on Halloween night the three of them would be attacked by a mysterious figure, Gladys being killed instantly.
Six months later Gladys would return, albeit something being off about her.
During the summer of 1989 Gladys would commit her first murder, killing a man in self-defense. Once the possible consequences of her actions occurred to her, she dismembered and ate the corpse raw. She would develop a taste for human meat after the experience, and would continue to kill and eat more men throughout the summer.
That fall she would be reunited with Thomasin through her college classes, the two of them forming a romantic relationship and moving in together.
Recently they pair would break up, however, per advice of Gladys’ therapist. Gladys would go on a serial dating spree to cope with the situation and become romantically involved with Darian Oved.
