History

Living as a free bird in society, unrestrained by his former lineage and family relations, Lian spends a lot of time performing jobs "under the table" and reaching out to every possible cat that he can find.

Aristocratic Cage

Born into a strict aristocratic family, he is the first child out of three. However, when his family found out he was not of a "superior" sex, his father slowly closed him off from the rest of the world, away from the world that his father would use to expand on his dreams of eventually being the head of the family to oversee operations related to the medical world. His father became overly protective and taught Lian different things that he did not take much of a liking to, forcing him to learn other forms of etiquette, readings on how to act like a "proper gentleman" and other effeminate activities. Seeing no point in rebelling and slowly growing jealous of his younger siblings, Lian shut himself from the rest of the world

When an event occurred in the city that caused a lot of distress and disorientation, raiders were all over the city, ransacking and looting all possible items. After all, a rich city full of aristocrats was a gold pot, so naturally any item would sell for thousands.

One raider happened to break into his family's property, whereby his interest upon a locked door discovered the disinterested Lian reading some books. Aware of the destruction that was happening outside but being deemed "unfit" to help, Lian's interest in the raider was calm, telling him to "take whatever he thought was suitable for profit" and that he did not care what happened to the things inside of their house, as long as his siblings were unharmed. The raider decided to amuse himself, asking questions about why he was so disinterested and why he was okay with him stealing lots of their items. When he started to understand the boy's view of the world and how it was unfair for people like him, the raider planned out his thoughts. Yes he had looted some things in the house... But that doesn't mean he couldn't take a person with him. A hassle it was to take a child with him as it was an extra mouth to feed, but this family was quite rich so there was more than enough to support. When he further questioned the boy about his ambitions to explore the world, Lian lit up like a lightbulb, excitedly talking about what he would hope to do the moment he could support himself. Seeing a different sparkle in the boy's eyes for adventure and risk, the hooded figured offered his hand to help him realize his ambitions sooner.

The house was left in a panic when they found out that a child was missing. They never heard from Lian again for a long while.

From the Shadows

Many years later, a vigilante group has set their sights on "destruction" by imposing their men all over the world, supposedly to stop "something" from happening. To what this something was, the general public never found out, nor did the vigilante group ever felt the need to explain such an event. In part of their results, there are six areas required to activate at roughly the same time in order to stop this "something", requiring one person of each "element" to conjure a magic pillar in these various locations. The main individuals would be at these locations, while a back-up support was provided to ensure that outsiders would not be able to interfere with their operations - Lian helped out by being one of these individuals to activate a magic pillar. As a result, the vigilante group was successful, allowing the world to continue at its pace. The vigilante organization continued to do its operations, away from the public eye and ensuring that there is at least some sort of justice watching over the useless government officials.

After the event was over, Lian had returned to the city that he originally lived in, surprisingly his family that he was still alive this entire time, with the exception of his younger brother as he kept in contact with him after he had left. Not giving the parents a chance to either assimilate him back into the family or to disown, he left without any remarks to continue exploring the rest of the world to be of use to others and to help himself learn and grow.

Style: Despite his body frame, Lian is surprisingly strong and sturdy and only somewhat fast, which is unexpected for someone of his class. His affinity allows him, however, to cover the weakness of being slow through stealth, which in turn allows him to escape certain situations if he deems that he cannot handle on his own. He will generally not pick a fight unless he is asked to. His choice of weapons are knives, long daggers, and katana-like blades. Close to mid-range fighter, but will keep his distance if at all possible.
