| August obviously has an aggression streak. Outside of this, he can be quiet friendly and open with people he finds deserving of the effort. Otherwise he just sticks to floating on the outskirts of conversation--mostly due to his situation. He'll talk readily about the family he left behind, and not so readily about why he's incarcerated.
He's easy to smile, encouraging, and good natured at best. He's harsh, aggressive and stubborn at worst.
Backstory:
The mob relations his brother had helped pay the bills and feed the two of them plus a younger sister they were raising. But said relations brought his brothers demise. Along with threats to the remaining family. August took it upon himself to enact revenge, both upset at the destruction of his family, and hoping to keep these men from doing it again (some sort of twisted vigilantism). He took down three men before presenting himself to the police with the information of the crime, and his guilty part in it. Now incarcerated with his biggest regret being that he abandoned his sister (13) in the process. He's approached by a national combatant agent with the prospect of partdon if he fights. August is now some strange sort of modern gladiator, and an infamous sports celebrity.
He simply attempts to keep his head down, and keep good behavior in the hopes that his life sentences would be pardoned.
