Unshia is a relatively quiet and reserved boy. His father ran away and his mother is no longer around, leaving him to raise his little siblings all on his own. He works many jobs to keep his family afloat.

One rainy day, he meets Hyuu when coming down from the mountain and they have an unofficial race. Although he lost, Hyuu praised him for his technique and asked to join the Sierra Panthera team in which Unshia agreed (with much reluctance until he met Taiga)

Being inspired by how unapologetic and no-tolerance Taiga is, Unshia immediately fell head over heels for him and follows him around like a puppy. He feeds Taiga with lots of praise and encouragement.
