There's an infamous story amongst exorcists, of a gumiho who targets exorcists. A shrill laughter sends spines down even the most hardened exorcists, especially in the middle of the night in a place where no one ventures. However, it would seem that it was only just that; a story. Even still, Seo-yeon remembers, and Seo-yeon never forgets. Even in current day, that shrill laughter can be heard, if only to scare whoever dares challenge her.

Seo-yeon's jet-blackhair is extremely long, even when braided into two parts. When braided, it reaches down to her ankles. Her bangs cover one of her eyes. In her gumiho form, the insides of her hair are dark red. Her fox form reflects her hair colour as well, though it's a mix of grey, black and red. Her form is unique from Myeong-hwa's fox form, which is pitch black with only red streaks on the face. In both forms, her eyes are amber-coloured, but her gumiho form shows a red undertone while her civilian form shows an orange undertone.

Seo-yeon's civilian clothes are varied based on her mood and setting, as she has a large wardrobe. She's partial to skirts and dresses, finding them more comfortable than wearing pants. Her hanbok always has an orange and light blue colour scheme, being her favourite colour combination.

Seo-yeon is a very excitable and outgoing kind of person, being open to talking and being extremely talkative with others. Because of her cheerful personality, she always makes attempts to get along with people and socialize as much as possible. However, this is more-so a front, as she doesn't really care about humans aside from a short-term relationship. Rather than out of malice, this is due to her seeing humans as 'weak' and treats them as such, regardless of their strength. Still, she enjoys talking and thinks that if you're sociable and easy to get along with, she'll enjoy your company regardless of species. This means that she dislikes quiet people like Ji-eun, but she thinks of Ji-eun as an exception to her preferences in friends. Though she cares very little for the lives of others, Myeong-hwa and Ji-eun are usually an exception, though she can get soft with specific people if she gets attached to them. Seo-yeon prefers not to get attached, however, and remains emotionally distant for her own benefit.

Seo-yeon has a high temper, however. She's often patient, but mistaking her cheerfulness as naivety is a sure-fire way of angering her. She tries her best to not show her angry side to people, and her brutality as a gumiho is a good reason to not make her angry. The peak of her anger is a rare sight, with the slaughter of exorcists in her past being an example of that anger.

Foxes are playful and mischevious creatures, and Seo-yeon is a model example of a trouble-maker. In her early years, she would play with humans but if they angered her, they would never find their way home. Eventually, stories of a playful fox would spread all around the villages in Daegu; if you find a young woman with black and red braids, play with her and do everything as she says. If you do, you'll be safe. If you don't, you'll be her next dinner. Seo-yeon didn't mind this, as it only meant that humans would always listen to her. If they didn't, then she had dinner and thus a win-win situation.

While waiting for a new playmate, another gumiho approached her. That gumiho, Myeong-hwa, approached her out of curiosity. "Will you play with me for a minute?" Said the older gumiho. Seo-yeon was excited, since she never saw another gumiho before. After multiple games after multiple days, Seo-yeon became attached to this woman, and was excited when she asked to be her sister. Seo-yeon knew of sisterhood, but never had much of a motivation to understand why such a bond would exist between two living beings until now. When she accepted, she was quickly introduced to Ji-eun; this only meant that Seo-yeon now had two playmates, ones that she could be with for a long time.

But such a happiness and playful moments would not last for long. Seo-yeon, like her sibling Ji-eun, followed Myeong-hwa's orders to protect a human woman until she came back. Seo-yeon, curious, went to see what happened to her sister...but she hated the answer she was given. Her anger turned blood red, and her hands ended the lives of countless exorcists. The orange sleeves of her hanbok were painted red, and the soil turned murky wherever she went. Only a soft mist calmed her down from a five year slaughter, but her anger never went away.

In current day, Seo-yeon continues to mingle with humans as she did before, only with new strategies and a plan made with her sibling. "Wait for the right time, and we can bring back our dearest sister." Such a promise Seo-yeon could make, keeping her anger in check. With Ji-eun keeping tabs on the exorcists that killed Myeong-hwa, Seo-yeon only bided her time until she could fool a desperate father into following their century-planned scheme to bring back their dearest sister...

Powers

Because she is a gumiho, they have the ability to shapeshift, absorb the life-force of a living being, enhanced capabilities, flight, etc.

Seo-yeon's unique ability is to manipulate blood, from changing the acidity to using it as an extension of her limbs when using her own blood. When using the blood of others, she can analyze medical information.

Myeong-hwa

Seo-yeon was somewhat spoiled by Myeong-hwa, who often played games with her and taught her ways to fight. Seo-yeon would get scolded by her frequently, but Myeong-hwa was one of the only people she would listen to, due to her respect and admiration for her sister. Myeong-hwa was the only person who could beat her at multiple games, and it only made Seo-yeon more competitive.

Ji-eun

Seo-yeon enjoys teasing Ji-eun and forcing them out of their shell, dragging them around in current times to try new things and ideas. Though they have petty arguments and get scolded by Myeong-hwa, Seo-yeon cares a lot about Ji-eun and wouldn't hestitate to protect them if someone hurt them. Sometimes, the two of them would play games together, though Seo-yeon is picky about video games more than Ji-eun is. Ji-eun is one of two people who can calm her down during a rage, the other being Myeong-hwa.

Gyeon-jeon Park

Seo-yeon didn't care for Gyeon-jeon or his wellbeing, much like how she treats and sees most human beings. However, she eventually began to treat him like a little brother instead. She teases him a lot, and he plays games with her when they're together, though Gyeon-jeon wishes she'd stop treating him like a kid. Seo-yeon finds Gyeon-jeon's lack of fear when it comes to deathly situations to be amusing.

Hyeon-ju

Seo-yeon likes Hyeon-ju's friendship, but dislikes that he doesn't seem to be quite honest with himself. She finds him a little bit pathetic, but doesn't mind him as much if he solves her riddles. Their relationship is akin to an elder sister to a younger brother, which Hyeon-ju teases her about and she retaliates by fighting him.

Eun

Seo-yeon finds Eun boring, and Eun finds Seo-yeon annoying.

• The reason why Seo-yeon's bangs cover one eye is because she likes people's curiosity and attempts to ask her why she does it. In reality, there's no reason for her hair to be styled like it is.
• Seo-yeon is the only one of the sisters that changes her height in her civilian form. Though she doesn't mind being tall, she doesn't like to stand out with how tall she is when mingling with people, as they keep pointing out that she's tall.
• Seo-yeon travels frequently outside of Korea, and is fluent in multiple languages.
• Seo-yeon shapeshifts the most out of her sisters.
