Panini has a generally no-nonsense, somewhat motherly personality with a fondness for the occasional bad joke, and strange phobia of deep bodies of water.
Before ascending as a goddess, Panini was part of a very wealthy family of jewelry makers. However, while not unskilled at her family trade, Panini found her true calling in the healing arts. Once she'd finished her studies in Sumeru, she left her comfortable life of wealth behind and devoted herself to developing new medical techniques and providing medical care to those in need.
It is said that she ascended upon completing an extremely difficult medical prodecure, but was so determined to ensure her patient's safe recovery that she left the heavens to check on them as soon as she learned to hide her divine side, and did not return again until the patient had fully recovered.
While not unfriendly or hard to contact, Panini is infamously hard to keep in the heavens for long. She claims that her duties as a doctor have not dissappeared just because fate decided to bless her with godhood, and thus spends most of her time continuing her work in mortal clinics and villages.
