Skin

Tend to have a grayish tint. Also has spots. Blood is their own color (so blush is the same).

Teeth

Human-looking teeth unless in attack-mode, in which their normal teeth fall out and are replaced with sharp, sharp teeth. (The change is pretty fast. But regrowing the human teeth takes a while. Thus they'll probably have to survive by sucking on things with their gums.)

Mushroom Umbrella

The umbrella is alive, and is tended to with the utmost care by the Imputresco. It provides them nutrition (by producing a thick, sticky substance that the creature is able to drink), protection, and heals them when injured by enveloping the creature with it's net-like threads. The thread extends and envelops the creature and it can rest/sleep inside the "cocoon". They tend to go to a safe place, generally dark and damp to keep safe. If the umbrella dies, the Imputresco is on its own, and their wounds are slow to heal.

Saliva

Semi-transparent that causes decay upon anything it touches.

Attack Mode

The sclera turns black and the pupil can be any color and glows. Sharp teeth, ofc. The skin on its face, along the jawline, also dissolves to allow the Imputresco to open its jaw wider.

Diet

hey're decomposers, so they can eat any bio product. They are also scavengers and are rather shy thus tend to eat foliage most of the time. However, if given the opportunity to eat meat, they shall! Once they have a taste, they tend to always hunger and crave meat, even going so far as to attack animals and humans.

Characteristics

Nocturnal. Shy, tends to not interact with anyone. Solitary. If endangered, most of the times will run. If desperate, may throw its umbrella as a distraction (plus you can eat the umbrella as it's edible) though doing so is ill-advised as the umbrella is a very essential part of their lives. (If they lose their umbrella, they can steal someone else's though stealing a diff. type of mushroom may injure them due to toxins.) May attack a heavily injured animal/human due to being opportunistic. May even "work together" though it's more of a feeding frenzy.

Habitat

Dark, damp place. Like a rainy forest. They can shrivel up and die if not given enough water/moisture.
