Chouko Mikazuki (朏 蝶子)

PERSONALITY

Chouko is excited and cheerful, like a typical genki girl, but she is prone to acting before she thinks and has a tendency to resort to violence to solve problems (like thinking to kick a broken computer instead of turning it off and on again), making her a bit of a dumb muscle character as well. She is cavalier and has a philosophy that everything will work out one way or another. She lacks some common sense, not being able to read certain social situations. She also tends to be very blunt and unafraid to say what she thinks of others. Even when saying harsh things, she smiles without any ill will.

However, she is perceptive when it comes to suffering, and does her best to cheer up those around her. People at school generally like her or find her amusing. She knows when to back off when she is veering on becoming annoying to others. She doesn’t really break school rules, but teachers have a hard time dealing with her sometimes due to her eccentric personality and remarks. She is generally laidback and easygoing, though she can sometimes become fixated on certain things (like Ren or eating a specific food). She likes to be goofy and crack jokes a lot.

When fighting Refracts, Chouko is ruthlessly violent and fights without restraint, but retains a light-hearted, cavalier attitude. Sometimes she can be a little spacey and adopts a completely blank face, which Ren finds creepy.

WARDROBE

Plain, comfortable clothes. Often just wears a T-shirt or tank top with some pattern or graphic and shorts. Wears sweatpants when it gets colder. She’s okay with anything that’s not too frilly. Doesn’t like wearing dresses or skirts at all, and will avoid wearing them except for her uniform. Favorite shoes are flats, flip flops, basically anything that’s easy to slip into. Doesn't like wearing sneakers because the laces are annoying to deal with.
