Raven

• They have a diamond marking on their forehead under their hair
• They have silver rings under their eyes and on the bridge of their nose

🔵 Charming - Albeit being a well-known troublemaker, usually Raven can make a fairly good first impression until proven otherwise. He's got some good looks on his side, as well as a sweet smile and a somewhat decent sense of humour. That is until he decides to cross the line he's much too familiar with.

 🔵 Dynamic - Raven usually always carries a smile, smirk or grin on their face wherever they go, filled to the brim with energy to burn. When it comes to their duties, usually they have plenty of new ideas or suggestions to try and help out as best as they can.

🔵 Passionate- Their interest lies in being a medicine cat, and it's quite obvious with the way they throw themselves into their work when the need be, carrying out their duties with fervour. He feels very strongly about his responsibility to take care of his Clan as a medicine cat.

🟡 Absent-minded - Although passionate and very helpful with medicine cat-related things, when it comes to most other things, Raven is quite forgetful or easily distracted. They'll cling to every word from their mentor or their sibling, but when it comes to other cats or subjects, they simply just struggle to retain what they've been told.

🟡 Familial - Especially focused on Pebblestrike, Raven feels very very strongly about his family and cares for them deeply. They’ve helped and been with him throughout his whole life and hopefully will stick around for much longer. In some ways, Raven even thinks of their mentor Liontoe as an extension of their family.

🟡 Self-conscious - Despite the charm, humour and occasionally crass attitude they show on the outside, deep down Raven does feel quite self-conscious of both their body and their abilities. They think of themselves as a tom, or in neutral terms, but are they really? Their body is not what they feel it should be… They sometimes feel they are and try their best to be a good medicine cat, but can they really be a good one? Will he ever serve his Clan as well as Liontoe does, and prove himself worthy of his title? He's not sure about either and it scares him.

🔴 Crass - Raven has a bad habit of swearing. Honestly, Raven has quite a lot of bad habits which they've just about picked them all up by being in Pebblestrike’s near-constant company. Not only that but they're not always filtering what goes through their mind then their mouth. This includes the swearing, but also a somewhat running commentary to themselves as they go about their day if they're in a bad mood, or if they're talking to an injured cat or the cat’s family members. They don't really sugarcoat anything, and have a habit of telling cats exactly how it is, bluntly, which can be insensitive sometimes.

🔴 Naive - He’s young and inexperienced, and is prone to picking up surrounding behaviours or habits thinking it'll help them be more “grown up” and “mature” sometimes. Except when your closest friend is your terror of a sibling.. Pebblestrike. The worst influence and yet Raven’s biggest influence. Pebble has played a very very large role in Raven’s life, and thus the development of their personality. Although he has picked up a few better behaviours and such from Liontoe primarily, but also the occasional clanmate.

Kithood:

Ravenkit was the only kit born in their litter, and was the second kit born to parents Fogspiral and Stonesnout, not that they knew it at first. Although they were somewhat aware of the third presence nearby who was neither mother nor father, but smelt of both, who'd eventually be recognized as Pebblepaw.

Right off the bat Ravenkit grew to be very attached to her sister, spending most of her time following their lead. Pebblepaw ended up being the cat to eventually first introduce Ravenkit to prey as they began to be weaned. All this time spent in Pebblepaw’s company has resulted in Ravenkit picking up on their sibling’s bad habits and even worse attitude.

These not-so-good habits Ravenkit picked up is what led to her finding herself on her own in Liontoe’s medicine den. Curious and intrigued, the kit proceeded to scout the whole den out, checking out herb supplies and probably messing it up on purpose as a “joke”. By the time Liontoe came back to the den, it was in a pretty bad state of shambles and he was obviously less than pleased.

The large golden tom proceeded to drag Ravenkit to Twistedstar to explain the situation that occurred. The two cats talked it out and decided on Ravenkit’s punishment, which would be to clean up her mess with some assistance from Liontoe. So that's exactly what Ravenkit did, as expected, but what wasn't expected was the newfound interest and fascination the kit would develop for these herbs while cleaning them up and sorting them. Even after the mess was all cleaned up, she stuck around a little before finally leaving. The next day? It would seem Liontoe had a little visitor yet again, but a less messy one this time.

And that was essentially how things kept up throughout the rest of Raven’s kithood. They hung out and played pranks with Pebblepaw, who eventually became Pebblestrike to Ravenkit’s glee, visited Liontoe in the medicine den every few days, and returned to Fogspiral in the nursery as the sun began to set.

However during these times, Raven was harboring some… less than pleasant feelings about themselves, hidden deep down but nevertheless present. She hid them by acting out in mischievous ways, much like her sister.

Finally, Ravenkit reached the age of six moons and was due to become an apprentice and Pebblestrike had recently been made CinderClan’s deputy upon Twistedstar’s sudden death. However, before the ceremony would occur, she was approached by the newly-made leader Wolfstar and Liontoe, who'd spoken to Wolfstar about his thoughts shared by Twistedstar, one day while playing with a moss ball by Fogspiral’s side. The two had a suggestion and Ravenkit listened with wide eyes and an ever-growing smile.

Apprenticeship:

Ravenkit’s apprentice ceremony had her named Ravenpaw and made to be Liontoe’s apprentice. A medicine cat apprentice. Raven was thrilled when the two toms had asked if that's something they'd be interested in, because it was!

During this time, Ravenpaw had come to a conclusion about themselves and asked to speak to Pebblestrike in private. To their sibling they confessed that they weren't a she-cat, and wished to be referred to in either neutral terms or as a tom. In response, Pebble was very accepting and was in fact able to spill their hidden feelings to their little sibling during this private conversation. Pebblestrike did not want to be referred to as a she-cat either, and Raven couldn't be prouder. The two announced their new pronounce publicly, with each other's support, and felt a weight lift from their shoulders.

Much happier and more at ease with themselves and their identity, Ravenpaw began to focus more on their training to become a medicine cat like a Liontoe and of course wreaking havoc upon the Clan alongside Pebblestrike, as it should be.
