Mother of Alakai and one of the oldest members of the Order of The guardians, Altaira is a guiding light among her peers. Motherly, compassionate, and yet fiercely protective of those she cares about, Altaira has perfectly filled her role as the Guardian of Dreams. She lives closer to the arctics where the reflection of the skies lights and the stars dance together and where the constellations her son loves most dearly are always on display. After the fall of Kamali and the disappearance of her daughter-in-law, Altaira spends most of her time looking after the survivors, their children, and ever the teacher, showing them how to keep going in the wake of devastation.
