After dropping out of med school Claire decided to become a pastry chef. Her parents, both doctors themselves, disapproved and urged her to go back to college. Fed up with the nagging Claire moved out of her parents home before even finding a place for herself. She was living on the streets and working at a local café for a couple of weeks, when she happened to meet her old babysitter whom she hadn't seen in years, Neva.

Hearing how Claire had been living up 'till then Neva asked the rabbit to come live with her for the foreseeable future, at least until she could afford a place of her own. Despite her initial reservations, Claire agreed and the two have been living amicably together ever since. Despite the fact that Claire has found a pretty stable income Neva has never asked her to move out. Claire keeps the apartment nice and tidy and always finds the time to put something delicious on the table for Neva.

Claire comes from a two-sibling household and prefers to have a few very close friendships, rather than to hang out with a larger group. She gets overwhelmed quickly in social situations so prefers to meet up one-on-one at a place she knows well, like her (and Neva's) home, or in quiet places like parks or bookstores. 

The petite bunny likes to wear thigh-length flowy skirts and dresses that mostly hide her shape. She keeps her hair on her back in two low pigtails but keeps her bangs and sidebangs quite long, hanging just above her eyes.
