Backstory

Just a young teenager when the Crusaders banded together and defeated the Draconic Threat to Jugdral, Arawn saw the horrors that could come when weak leaders with secret agendas gained power. Deciding that the best way to ensure the continued survival of Freege was to get close to the leadership himself, he joined the Belhalla Academy in hopes of becoming a Mage Knight. It was here that he met Havgan and Alexis, who would become his closest friends and confidants. Though he connected with his classmates, Arawn soon found that the life of the average Mage Knight didn't quite suit him, chafing with lofty concepts of chivalry and constant vigilance. Though he was no slouch with a blade, he could easily talk his way through most conflicts instead of meeting in honorable combat, and found the best path was simply avoiding the people who would fight you in the first place. So he decided to enlist as a spy for Freege, and quickly found himself answering to the Acting Duke. Though his job was rather easy, due to the relative peace that fell over the continent in the years since the Draconic attack, Arawn wasn't one to complain; after all, this simply meant he could spend more time honing his skills and separating fools from their money at the local tavern.

Present Day

Nowadays, Arawn's stress levels have risen exponentially much to his chagrin. He broke into Mjolnir's vault seeking answers to the voices he was hearing from there, and found himself suddenly infused with the same power that the Crusader Thrud had been gifted all those years ago. Quickly taking a leave of absence to figure out what to do with this unwanted power and to hide this surefire source of attention, Arawn soon fell in with a group assigned to tracking down an escaped scientist from a secret project Grannvalian royalty was working on. Hopefully, his interference can prevent another fall from grace.
