Strong, Bold, Intelligent, Self-authoritative; he does not like being told what to do unless it's his handler commanding him. Sitka will not tolerate disrespect from another dog who he knows is challenging him. A born leader, Sitka is often the first one to stand up and take action, and unless his person's around, he's in charge. A strong, smart dog with an independent streak, Sitka is tough to beat when he really sets his mind to something. He's tolerant around the young but expects proper respect around the older. He is friendly of strangers and other animals but will not seek attention from them.
