POWERS

• Teleportation The ability to remove himself from a location and reappear in another. He can not easily teleport to a location that he has never been to. If he is touching someone else they will get teleported with him. He can not teleport large objects. Teleporting more than himself and long distances may cause dizziness
• Telekinesis The ability to move objects without having physical contact with them. He can not move large objects
• Pyrokinesis The ability not to burn. Although this power commonly refers to ones who can control fire, Sandy is simply much more immune to being burned. This includes any external parts of his natural body, not his clothes. Once skin or hair is removed from him it is no longer fireproof
• Sword Summoning The ability to summon his iron/silver longsword. He can make it disappear just as easily. He can also make it move with his telekinesis. The sword is a part of him, so as long as he is alive it is unbreakable and will never dull
• Healing Factor The ability to heal physical injuries quicker than the average person.
• Weakness Sandy's main weakness is water. He can still drink it, but otherwise, it is quite painful to the touch. Lots of or long exposure will cause burning sensations and rashes on his skin. Saltwater is worse, drying out his skin - He also has insecurity and emotional weaknesses, along with limited physical strength. If he is in a poor mental state, it can become increasingly more exhausting for him to use his powers, all of which stem from his mind
  
  

BACKSTORY

Childhood

Sandy was a playful young child, always getting into mischief and playing with his parents. And then his little siblings came along. Not getting the attention he thought he deserved, Sandy learns how to play by himself and gets mad that he can't have all of the time with his mother.

Starting out school, the other students tended to dislike him for his quick temper and quiet nature. After a while of this, he flips the switch and becomes the bully to other kids. He's caught, but he doesn't have the want to quit.

Teenager

Through the rest of his school years, Sandy is hated and feared. In his anger, he even harasses his younger sister, threatening her life on different occasions if she doesn't do what he asks. There was no s*ual abuse.

Like his forefathers, Sandy's powers begin to erupt at the latter part of age seventeen. His frustration at life is multiplied by his newfound fear of himself. At home, relationships with his family are destroyed as he hides away to try and figure out what to do with himself.

It is his mother, Kathrine, who comes to his aid and has the gentle hand to help him learn how to understand this change. With aid from her and his grandfather Steven, Sandy learns how to control his supernatural powers but that doesn't mean he still isn't cautious

Adulthood

Sandy moves out not too long before his twentieth birthday, heading out to begin his work life. Going from a family with enough money to living on his own was a challenge but he figured it out after a while.

Two years later, his mother passes. Her powers and her disconnection from her homeworld send her to the land of the departed, shattering Sandy's fragile heart. She was the only one who ever understood him and now he is truly alone with these powers. He closes himself off. Not only to others but to his emotions, too.
