When Bumble hatched, he hatched late and as the supposed runt of the litter. His parents had left seeing as their unhatched egg seemed to not be likely to hatch. Unknowing that this is was what happened Bumble waited for his parents to show. Eventually a small family of farmers found him, and taking pity on the small noovle, decided to raise him.
As Bumble grew older he was eventually allowed to explore the farm where he lived on. Although he was fascinated by all the farm animals; nothing could beat wonder Bumble first felt when he saw the bees. Why, they had stripes just like him! And they were fuzzy and made funny buzzing sounds! They even kinda smelled like flowers! Ecstatic over finding such wonderful creatures Bumble spent all his time trying to learn about them and, to a certain extent, to be like them.
Since that day Bumble spends all his time near and around the bees, likening himself as their guardian. He remains in good terms with the farmers. Helping them gather honey and fruit, and being allowed to sleep in their homes when it is to cold to do so in his knoll side burrow during winter.
