SPECIES LORE --- yraiva are the lesser deities of birds. each yraiva watches over the flock of its species that summoned it. yraiva eggs typically take 2-4 weeks to hatch, depending on size. they can be killed by other deities*, when their flock dies out, or destroying their egg before hatching. their role is mainly to guide (after habitat destruction, during migration, etc). it is frowned upon among the deities to intervene in the natural order of the food chain (some still do it anyway). adult yraivas can grow anywhere between 3' to 7' tall, depending upon rarity and species. they depend on magic to fly and conceal themselves, though their flock and other deities will still be able to see them. they don't need to eat*, as they are sustained by the wellbeing/health of their flock. yraivas feel emotions, but are asexual and typically aromantic. their personalities are molded by their flock and their experiences.

BIOGRAPHY --- Even though she is just the lesser deity of golden pheasants, she has a huge ego and god complex. She believes natural selection should pick off the weak in order to better the gene pool and oftentimes turns the other cheek when she sees them picked off by predators. While she does feel emotion, her face remains apathetic in front of her flock because she believes emotions are a sign of weakness.
