Emil Godinez

Emil can be considered the main character of Beauty! Growing up, Emil was treated rather unfairly by his parents. Who usually put their focus towards his sister Erin. Because of the neglect, Emil has a subconscious urge to overcompensate and do something that is “worth” being remembered for. Thus, when Beauty! is formed, he sees the band more as a means to an end than as something he enjoys doing with his friends. This, along with some unresolved issues, is what ultimately led to the slow death of Beauty! and what made Emil push away those he loves most. 

Misc Details: 

• Emil loves the anime and ongoing manga series Super Soap Rin, other than Beauty! and cosmetic history, SSR is his main interest. 
• Hair is something Emil has a hard time taking care of. Leading his hair to be damaged from both hair dye and unprofessional straightening techniques. He uses a very sweet smelling conditioner to hide how “bad” his hair looks. 
• Emil’s top lip is covered with black lipstick, his lips are not a stylistic choice by me, he just likes putting black lipstick only on his top lip. He’s mentally ill.
• Emil is absolutely terrified of thunderstorms.
