Bugsworth Luckless

He/him - 20 - Pokemon trainer sona
- From Unova (Castelia City originally but left for an adventure alone across Unova, then different regions)
- Starter was a male Ledyba (Leuk), still has him but very very rarely uses him for battle due to his old age and a severe injury he suffered
- Shiny hunter & amateur biologist/ecologist, in other words he doesn't do anything useful he is just really curious about the world and likes to look at bug pokemon and say look at this bug
- Sole descendant of Skitter, a jester who served the ancient Harmonia family. Because of lore reasons the whole Luckless bloodline since Skitter has been affected in some way mentally or physically by ultra space distortion, including him (he has the ability to feel/see into other timelines but doesn't know it and it kind of drives him insane). Has a morbid curiosity about ultra space and alternate timelines, is the one thing he's truly afraid of
- Is friends with Ghetsis and sees him as a mentor/grandfather (Ghetsis sees him as an apprentice/grandson too but they're both insane so its not a typical relationship)
- Doesn't emote (or at least doesn't emote appropriately) particularly in the eyes, comes off as uncomfortable and eerie. Always stares past or through people rather than at them
- Completely unafraid of ghosts, bugs, heights, dangerous pokemon, etc but is somewhat germophobic and really fussy about his personal space/things being contaminated
- Disappears for long stretches of time (usually when shiny hunting or caught up in a new curiosity) and acts like an insane angry hermit until his task is done
- Tormented genius except he isn't actually smart he just has OCD. Very neurotic and has to have things go perfectly or else no matter how inconsequential
- Is very insecure about his lack of strength/knowledge, so if and when he wins at anything he immediately loses his mind and gets drunk off the power (trash talks when it is not earned and says "first try" about things that took him like twenty tries minimum)
- Outwardly stoic, inwardly neurotic. Mellow and clever at best, timid and creepy at worst
- Shy about forming deep friendships. Despite being mega weird and powerhungry he does have a good heart and tries earnestly to be a supportive friend (true friendship is harder than any pokemon battle). Gets along with his pokemon much easier than people
- Is "friends" with the Unova subway bosses and has not won a single battle against either of them yet (seething + coping)
- Is also "friends" with Sordward and Shielbert
- Sends people letters via Leuk (respond to my marriage proposal or I'll enlist in the war and die)
- Favorite color is pink
- Right handed-- right (gloved) hand is his throwing arm, left has a pink four-pointed star tattoo on the palm
- Ever since he started messing around with Ultra Wormholes, Luckless has  been pestered by a shiny Pheromosa, which he is terrified of

Prefers modern, formal mensware with some futuristic/scifi streetware elements. Mostly wears all black (long coat or blazer + turtleneck or dress shirt w tie + platform boots). The inside of his long coat has an iridescent pink and blue pattern resembling the pattern on BW1 Ghetsis' cloak. Sometimes wears white cartoon gloves

Hatched from a single egg that Luckless cared for while Ledian was recovering from a grave injury Imprinted on Luckless when she was born so she has two dads. A bug one and a Bugs one Energetic and curious Likes to pick fights, extremely brave and unaware of her own weakness Good spirited and innocent, jumps to others defense and fiercely stands up for her friends Very loyal to Luckless and is very tactile (always clinging to his head, arm, or shoulder) but wanders off and gets lost easily	MAGNETON - Quirky  Sturdy  Eviolite Magnet Rise - Electric Terrain - Flash Cannon - Discharge Took pity on Luckless after watching him fail to catch three Shiny Magnemites, ended up being the strongest Pokemon Luckless has ever trained. Best at battle out of the whole group byfar Analytical and morbidly curious, loves to stare and observe things it finds strange as if it’s studying them Oddly vengeful and spiteful, doesn’t go easy on those who have wronged it or it’s friends Has a nonexistent ego and is patient with others Very responsible. Safety first! Luckless’ Fly Pokemon (levitates by use of Magnet Rise, he hangs by one arm from it’s underside and also has magnets in the soles of his shoes that let him stick to it upright)
EISCUE ♀★ - Modest Ice Face Wiki Berry Hail - Freeze-Dry - Surf - Iron Head Stolen from a Pokemon collector after he refused to sell or trade her to Luckless Clumsy and cowardly, but dreams of being adored for her beauty someday. Very bashful when praised  Scrappy and unkempt. A little bit stinky  Among us in real life Is shy about showing her Noice Face Has poor accuracy and attacks when panicked  Gets trash, items, and small Pokemon caught frozen solid in her ice head very frequently  Luckless’ Surf Pokemon (floats at the surface with Luckless standing on her head)	POLITOED ♂★ - Naive  Water Absorb Bounce - Belly Drum - Hypnosis - Perish Song Finally caught after a year-long game of cat and mouse between him and Luckless Very good-natured but also dopey and oblivious. Scatterbrained and distractible  VERY playful, doesn’t listen to Luckless at all when in sillymode Most difficult member of the team. Training him is like herding Meowth Pleading emoji animal  This frog fuckin obeast Talkative, always croaking and trilling Has a high-pitched squeal of a voice that puts off all other Pokemon, but Luckless enjoys the sound
COFAGRIGUS ♂★ - Naughty Mummy Amulet Coin Trick - Disable - Hex - Will-O-Wisp Joined Luckless’ team because he was the first human he had ever met who wasn't scared of ghosts Perfect IVs but poorly trained Spoiled and fussy, very conceited. Very important to him to keep his coffin spotless, loves being polished with Combee wax Has a greedy appetite for precious metals and gemstones Obsessed with Luckless and very protective and loyal to him, but is purposely difficult when he doesn’t get his way Lets Luckless be inside his coffin without draining his life force (much), lets him sleep inside him at night Luckless’ Ride Pokemon (lays inside him while he walks on his four hands) Skilled at using Trick to swap Luckless with other people/pokemon/objects Doesn’t know it but is the ghost of a dead Kalosian prince. Wants glory and admiration like that of when he was alive Best friends with Unown F (it finds and brings him treasures to eat)	UNOWN F★ - Quiet Levitate Hidden Power Attached itself to Luckless' back after being attracted to his iridescent coat, refused to leave his side after that Attracted to shiny, glittery things. Has poor spatial awareness but is amazing at spotting treasure and Shiny Pokemon from a great distance  Mild and shy, but constantly full of curious awe (he is mesmerized by the beauty of the world) Mimics the actions of people and other pokemon out of curiosity Seems lonely or homesick, but doesn’t remember what for  Likes to cling to Luckless’ coat like an iron-on patch, and to hold objects with it’s “arm” (if you hand it literally anything it will hold it) Best friends with Cofagrigus (reminds it of it’s home and feels safe sticking to the outside of his coffin)
