Tara tends to wander in the frozen pathways of Iceraan. When she has finished her daily chores for the family home, she sets out for small adventures. She is too young to leave the country... but at least she can admire her surroundings! She has an excellent relation with "nature" or whatever one can call the icy wastelands.
One day she found something peculiar... quite out of place it would seem. A human and a strange-looking cat were huddled together between the mounds. It would seem that the cat was doing just fine but the human was freezing to death! Tara and her best friend Pago hurried to their rescue, giving them food, warmth and shelter. From what Tara could understand - thankfully she had some knowledge of common - the human, Raya, was searching for her brother... or sister (?) something like that-
The only thing she could think to do for them was take them back north, away from Iceraan. Humans rarely treaded this place, plus none of the members of Tara's village had seen any human during recent times. She had thought of joining them up to a certain point but... maybe she shouldn't... she'd be a burden right? M-Maybe it wouldn't hurt to ask...?
Years later she would stumble across another human... but this one was determined to stay in Iceraan for quite some time. They called it "endurance training", even if they shuddered in the cold. Tara was sure to house them just like they'd done once before. She was curious about this training of theirs as well...
"No no no take me back! This place is too dangerous!"

Pago
[ best friend ] Pago is more than a pet to Tara: he's her best friend. They roam the icy wastelands together, play together, eat together, sleep huddled together... If Tara were ever to venture out of Iceraan, she's sure Pago would be the only one to accept her invitation out of the village. She's satisfied just knowing he'll always be by her side.
Raya
[ curious stranger ] It's rare to find foreigners in the cold like that. People only come to Iceraan for a reason, so to find Raya and her furry friend out there because they got lost... well, that's... more than uncommon. However, Tara was moved by Raya's cause and decided to follow them up for a bit until she returned home. She hopes the other girl found her twin...
Nadine
[ mentor ] It would be years until she came across another foreigner. This one had decided to stay for training purposes... which was odd... Tara's inquiries about their profession would lead Nadine into teaching her about the monk arts. Helpful to fend off enemies in the wild... even if rare. Tara hopes to visit Nadine's temple once their training is deemed over!! Hopefully!!
