Epiales

One of the few God Eater's left, Epiales hunts the vastness of space in search of elder gods to consume.With each god consumed, he grows in strength, adorning his body with their most precious features.

Passive: Eyes of the Bewildered - Looking at Epiales puts an immense amount of strain on a being's psyche. Each turn, gain a stack of " Sleep Paralysis". At 5 stacks, you are immobilized, sleeping, and feared. As you gain stacks, lose 5% of your total Will. The 6th stack and beyond while under Sleep Paralysis consumes 25% on your current Will. Epiales can identify any major weakness, fear or phobia if you can not save vs Will  

Notable abilities:  Rift Walker - Can travel between dimensions 

Corrosive Flame - Releases a plasma that eats away at most bio and biomechanical components. Leaves a corrosive area. 

Gnash - Strong Jaw bite. 90% chance of amputation if it connects. 

Reallocate - Consuming soul energy increases Epiale size to a cap. Once the cap is reached, Epiales can store the energy to increase attack damage, store it as "eggs", or improve strength of reproduction.  Brood - Epiales plants a slime like egg, after 2 turns the egg hatches into a 'Beast' class monster. If the monster  accurately represents the enemy's fear or weakness, Epiales gains additional damage, increasing Sleep Paralysis stacks from 1 to 2 per turn to that enemy and the enemy is stunned for 1 turn. 

Know Your Place - Gain dominance over any  creature with the 'Beast' keyword. 

Polymorph - Transform into another species. Can only transform into a species that has been consumed before.

HISTORY: Once a small horned serpent, Epiales followed the carnage of the great God Wars. As the war waged across the galaxy, Epi was allowed to go unnoticed, consuming the flesh ot soilders, mages and even the innocent caught in the crossfire. He brought swift and merciful death to any soul that clung to life by a thread. He grew in size and with his size, he gained the attention of Generals from either side. At first, he was simply an insect feeding on scraps, but now he was growing into a menice. A nameless assassin was sent to dispose to Epiales but he was aware of this moment to come. He laid a trap for the assassin, capturing him in a daze and forming the first Thrall. The assassin returned to its former master, stabbing him in the neck. The Thrall was quickly disposed of but the damage from the god killing dagger was already done. Epiales claimed his prize: snatching the head from the God's shoulders. With that, Epiales claimed his right amoungst the immortals and continues to hunt down the strongest immortal beings to consume.

Epiales understands his place in the grand design of the universe: a necessary evil. Epiales has been blessed with the ability to kill and break down the potent energy Gods store inside themselves. From this, he breeds new life into the world, creating new monsters and wondrous creatures that help shape the universe and the worlds that live in it.
