A societal outcast by nature, Orchid is very shy and doesn't really like to be around people. He also isn't really comfortable speaking English around others due to students ridiculing him on his accent when he was young.
Where he truly shines is in his Gardening. Orchid learned most of what he knows from his mother and he has been trying his best for as long as he can remember to try and impress her with his shop, but he knows that she'll probably never see it.
Background
Born to a primarily French-speaking family, Orchid was the youngest out of 3 siblings. His mother was a botanist studying the medicinal use of certain plants, while his father was a businessman, often away on trips throughout Orchid's childhood.
