traffik!

the embodiment of "safe". this creature stands eight feet tall and wanders areas in the Dreamscape, seeking out "black holes". you know, those areas where it's just black--a chunk hasn't loaded yet. entering that pitch portal will bring you somewhere else, and that location could be dangerous, and Traffik! won't stand for it!

they proclaim to help outsiders by sealing off dangerous portals and other cracks in the universe, cutting off routes to keep people on the main ones, which are safer because they are "much wider, with light, and you can actually see where you are going :)" though, what they don't seem to realize is that no area in this world is safe. no matter how many times someone tells them that, they brush it off, optimistically and naively wandering off in search of the next black hole to seal.

black holes are actually quite beneficial. those knowledgable of the Dreamscape know to use these portals to quickly traverse the infinite dimension, and memorize which portals lead to where--such as Safe Zones, food sources, entertainment areas, and even escapes from the realm. say someone hops into a black hole to get food. if Traffik! covers the hole and seals it, that route is forever blocked off from both ends. the person returns to the spot the hole once was, but it is no longer there. they are trapped, possible in an area they do not want to be in for long, and may not be able to find their way back. Traffik! may actually be forcing dangerous entities into the areas they claim as "safe" by boxing in spaces.

it may seem that Traffik! is not as safe as they claim to be.
