Personality:

Small Q: 

Generally friendly and carefree, not bothering to be imposing, magical, or scary. Often could be confused with a small dog or cat in personality and would much rather live their life as a pampered house pet then go back to the responsibilities of creating and defending universes. Fond of snack food, soft beds, plushies, and running through the woods.

Big Q:
Large and intimidating, just enough to unnerve anyone who enters their designated forest domain without their permission. They are reclusive and antisocial, preferring to not interact with other beings unless forced to. Feels a great deal of anger whenever a forest is irreparably damaged and can pose a threat to someone who takes a perceived misstep against them

Q also has a strong affinity for the creatures known as toads and will drop anything to play with one.

Basic Biology / Form: 

Q isn't actually a dragon, nor a mire lurk, although they present themselves officially as one. Q is actually a self-aware conglomerate of particles that have managed to attain shapeshifting capabilities, by utilizing the processes of collecting other atoms when needed and converting excess into energy by using the E=MC2 formula, but explaining more is too much mixing science with fun.

 As such, Q actually doesn't need to subsist on food, and can take any form they desire- usually a genderless, and internal organ-less mire lurking dragon known as a- wait for it- mire lurk. Q chose the mire lurk mainly because they've always admired dragons in form throughout their travels in the Veil, and thought it well to not only mimic a species of one, but also one that allows for them to hide their energy well- the source of raw particles that they must keep in order to still change from solid to gas to energy. Due to the large mane of the mire lurk, they were an obvious choice. 

Q is more of a lost shapeshifting god than the small dragon that they front as. They only really started to take the small form after being 'tamed', and typically when uncomfortable can take a range of forms, from resembling multi-mouthed demons, a large imposing forest spirit version of themselves, a seamonster, and when angry, SHADE.

Backstory:

Q themselves is 'the designer' a creature that gave form to shapeless power and put in place the building blocks and raw design of worlds. Their aspects ranged from setting the bodyplan and rules for life and magic, to determining what rules of physics would apply. They served as a subordinate under their Keeper and worked alongside 7 other draconiform style beings to create and design multiple realms. The alliance between them was strained and kept only by formalities, and the deities held no respect for the others.

Things got sort of ...shaky... along the way and each of Q's strongest forms were split up into individual aspects and sharded across various planes of existence.  Each form lacks a portion of their memories, just enough to keep them always guessing which form of them is the 'real' one and what powers they are supposed to have, leading to various arguments and fights for power between them, mirroring the fights of old between the seven gods.

They often long to return to their old home, but perhaps not to their old life. The version of them confined to the mortal realm says that they are awaiting the apocalypse, where they supposedly will be granted their powers once more and their forms reunited back into their divine being.
