Isidora was the human daughter of Nyx. Born a goddess, she fell in love with a human. While she could still have a relationship with the mortal, she longed for a normal mortal life, not wanting to watch her lover grow old and die when she would live unchanged. She approached her mother about this who was against the idea. She'd not only be losing her daughter, but her daughter would not retain the memories or wisdom she accumulated throughout the centuries. Going behind her mother's back, she went to Hades. In exchange for being reborn a human, she offered her soul. No matter if she died nobly or not, she would be confined to the underworld. She was willing to risk it and made her deal with Hades. Being reborn as a human, she had Persephone watching over her, as the two were very close friends. She was able to be with her lover for but a short time, as he contracted a deadly disease. In her grief, she killed herself, ending up in the underworld. Before Nyx could get to her to scold her, Hades stopped her, explaining that without her previous memories she would be confused and lead to insanity, causing her soul to flow aimlessly and endlessly in the river Styxx
