Lucian is friendly and hospitable with outsiders. Usually, he waits for people to begin asking him about his religion, which can turn into an extensive ramble. However, he becomes aggravated easily if Nox is being threatened or disrespected. Growing up, he didn't spend a lot of time with other people, so he has trouble understanding emotions and can come off as insensitive.

Childhood

Lucian was forced into servitude for the Nether King at a young age. Due to his shapeshifting abilities, he was treated as the king's pet and was to protect and attack under his command. Eventually, he managed to escape into the Overworld but was hunted down by the Nether people before Nox intervened and protected him. With no where to go, Lucian stuck by Nox's side, and refused to leave her despite her efforts in finding him a suitable home. Eventually, she took him in as her own, protecting and raising him as best she could.

Teenagehood

In his teenage years, Lucian learned more about Nox’s history, and became interested in the religion that people built around her. He practiced some of their beliefs, as he gained a new sense of respect for the sheep. Eventually, Lucian showed his devotion to her by completely sharing his consciousness.

Adulthood

Soon, Lucian convinced Nox to come out from hiding and rather build a following once again. Though young, Lucian revived the Nox religion as he slowly gained followers. Through the support of others, Lucian was able to build a church to house and protect Nox.

Unfortunately, the resurgence of the Nox church brought unease among people, and along with it came unwanted and negative attention towards Lucian and his followers. Ultimately, Lucian finds himself needing to use more forceful methods against his rivals.
