★୧ ASH (✦ 𝐖/ 𝐑𝐎𝐒𝐄)

After enduring a painful injury inflicted on him from a SkyClan cat, Ash and his two buddies, Lizard and Skies, approached ThunderClan's territory after moons of traveling and looking for their tribe before eventually giving up and deciding to settle elsewhere. Ash was determined to find the two a safe place to live.

That's when they met Roselily, then Rosepaw, a molly amongst the much older apprentices. Ash thought she was beautiful upon first seeing her, ultimately asking to join whatever clan she was in after hearing whispers from it throughout the outsider lands. Rosepaw proceeded to lead them back to ThunderClan, where the three were accepted into their ranks.

Ash and Roselily's relationship and bond continued to flourish after that, the she-cat teaching Ash all about the clan's way of life and being the one to introduce him to a majority of clan customs. She's the one that stuck with him from the very beginning of his introduction into the clans, and for that, Ash couldn't be anymore thankful.

As Ash became more accustomed with ThunderClan's ways, he felt his love for Roselily grow and grow with each moon that passed by, as did Roselily. She initially only found his personality to be rather cute, but as time passed, she felt her feelings for him quietly develop.

It was only after SkyClan’s vicious attack on ThunderClan’s ancient oak to claim it did Ash truly want to confess his feelings to Rose. After battling two cats at once, he was sent into a coma that lasted over a week, Roselily being the one to constantly check and worry over him every single day, awaiting the day he’d awake. Ash had both dreams and nightmares in his time being disconnected from Earth, but found himself much more at peace when he dreamed about Roselily.

After he awoke. Roselily was right there by his side to greet him and worry over him after check-ups with Whimsypaw, the clan medicine cat. In that moment, Ash wondered if it was worth risking more close-calls to finally confess his love to her, blurting out his confession right then and there. Thankfully, Roselily agreed, but not after giving him a scare that she didn’t feel the same way back. Once he fully recovered from his injuries, he wasted no time in proudly fawning and pampering his mate in anyway he could, much to Roselily’s delight.

The two mates were casually chatting in camp, messing and checking up with each other after the event of ThunderClan’s deputy, Alerceclaw, stepping down from his position. To try and cheer him up, Roselily bounded out of camp so the two could take a lovely stroll together, Ash quickly following suit.

Their relaxing stroll in the territory was short-lived, though, as the two heard the squeaks and calls of something off in the distance. They agreed to investigate, and upon arriving at the source of the noise, found two young kittens traveling alone. Thankfully, they were uninjured, but definitely tired and hungry. The kittens introduced themselves as Cookie Dough and Rainbow Sherbet, the couple immediately falling for their adorableness. After they listened for a bit about their journey and their quest to find WindClan, the mates took them back to camp after clarifying that they were ThunderClan, the two kits not really caring anyway.

A day or two passed ever since they brought the two kits back to camp, the couple talking for a bit and agreeing they wanted to become parental figures to the pair they found. Not long after, Ash was approached by Laurelstar, and the two spoke about the kittens, Ash suggesting their names that he’d picked out with Rose in the process, Cookie Dough being Ryekit and Rainbow Sherbet being Lambkit, at least once they were fully accepted into ThunderClan. Laurelstar agreed with these names and gave him reassurance he’d be a fine father.
