Before he was even born, trouble was already injected into Lost’s veins. His father, Gloomsnarl, was exiled from TundraClan due to attempted murder on the deputy. Lost’s mother, Pipitsong, was pregnant at the time, and she was cast out right alongside her mate due to her involvement.
The two lovers found sanctuary in the outsider territories, where they set up their new home within caves and caverns. A couple weeks after they were exiled, Pipitsong gave birth to four kits, Lostkit, Coyotekit, Rivuletkit, and Woolykit.
The family of six lived peacefully for around seven moons, but it wasn’t without marital issues between Pipit and Gloom. One day, Gloomsnarl snapped upon finding out that Pipitsong was having an affair with a loner, resulting in a kit she had brought home. Gloom lashed out and attacked her, resulting in her death from blood loss. Woolykit had been the one to try and break it up, but he got severely injured in the process.
Distraught over murdering his own mate and enraged at the fact she’d cheated on him, Gloomsnarl turned his anger onto his kids, where he proceeded to rip out Lostkit’s eye and declare all of them as no longer his kits. Gloom kicked all of them out of the cave, but, shortly after, the loner having the affair with Pipit, Klaus, rushed in and managed to save the newborn kit before fleeing. That kit was named Ghoul, and he now roams the outsider territories alone.
On the way to seek help from a family friend, Woolykit ended up dying. The siblings were forced to leave him behind, and they finally reached their family friend, Ambrosia, who took them in and tended to Lost’s eye.
Unfortunately, she wasn’t equipped to care for three children at once, so she led them to their birth clan, TundraClan, so that they could care for them better than she could. She only led them as far as the border, however, leaving it up to them to find the camp.
The three siblings reached the clan that they’d been raised to hate and loathe, but, for their own survival, they begged to join, where they were accepted, given they participated in trials of loyalty.
It didn’t take a genius to put together the evidence that they were the offspring of the exiled mates from a couple moons ago, but the entire controversy of their presence slowed overtime.
After a couple moons of proper training and teachings, the three were named Lostpaw, Coyotepaw, and Rivuletpaw. He didn’t get along with many of his clanmates, but there were a select few that he appreciated and became good friends with, most of them lasting all the way up to his leadership.
During a brutal and deadly leafbare, Lostpaw’s sister, Rivuletpaw, died to greencough.
Lostpaw had a relatively normal rest of his apprenticeship before he, alongside his brother, gained their warrior names.
Granted with the suffixes of Lostheart, for his cold and uncaring attitude, and Coyotesong, named after his tendency to always vocalize his opinions, the brothers stepped into their positions as warriors. They began plotting to take down their father in an act of justice and revenge. The two disappeared from TundraClan for a couple days, tracking down their father who was now living alone. They murdered him in cold blood before disposing of his body, but Lostheart managed to snag a sample of his father’s fur before they returned to their clan. Lostheart intended to experiment now that he’s both witnessed and committed murder. However, Lostheart was unable to experiment with his brother, as, shortly after their father’s murder, Coyotesong was drowned by a trespassing FallClanner that was never identified. Still dealing with the grief of his brother, Lostheart met a passing-by loner named Daisy. He murdered her a couple moons after. Lostheart lived out the rest of his warriorship normally, albeit sinking further and further down into the point of no return and murdering one more feline before his deputy ceremony.
Lostheart’s promotion came as a surprise to him, as he was less focused on his place within TundraClan at that time and more focused on his own personal goals. He did accept the offer, however, wishing to see how it all played out. Lostheart murders four FallClanners throughout his time as deputy. Lostheart attended a patrol with Smudgestar, Bullstrike, and Doeprance at the rockslide mountains. Goats triggered a rockslide, where Lostheart’s leg was broken in the process. They all managed to get out of there without much issue. Lostheart is challenged by a young warrior, Rushingstag, to a spar. It ended with the two bloodied and beat up, Lostheart coming out on top in the end. During an outing into the forest, Rushingstag came upon the deputy and the two bantered and teased each other back and forth before the conversation shifted into Lostheart agreeing to teach Rushingstag into becoming a great warrior, the interaction ending in Lostheart laying claim to the warrior's newly shed antlers and the two returning to camp. After trespassing onto FallClan territory on a little retreat, Lostheart is found by Willowwhisper and is ordered to leave. Of course, he only toyed around with her, going as far as snagging her marten friend, Kit, and giving it a little scratch. In the end, Willowwhisper ended up winning their tussle and successfully got Lostheart to leave. The original mission being to seek Smudgestar and inform him of the fire, Shadowpaw is faced by Lostheart instead. The deputy is informed of it and is rather unconcerned, along with a little joyful of it, much to the apprentices’ horror. Lostheart proceeds to threaten her into keeping her lips sealed after she attempts to find Smudgestar herself, chipping her antlers before watching her run off to get away from him, proceeding to retire into the warriors’ den for the day. Smudgestar mysteriously disappears for days, in which multiple search efforts are sent out to look for him over the course of those days. After a week goes by with no sign of him, Lostheart decides to take the initiative and travel to the moonpool with Wintersolstice to seek his rightful position as leader.
Shortly after Loststar returns from his journey to receive his new set of lives and name, he's approached by Rushingstag, who strikes up a conversation with him at the lake. A bit of chatting and small talk later, the leader tells the young warrior that he's been chosen as the next deputy of TundraClan. Ecstatic, eager, and ready to serve, Rushingstag inquires about their training session, which Loststar starts right then and there. The two proceed to train and talk of strategy well into the evening. Occurring a short while after Loststar has implemented his new way of ruling, a concerned Shepherdscourge approaches him and requests his presence in privacy. The conversation isn't as easy as the two had hoped, as Shepherd's concerns on the way Lost rules are brushed aside. Eventually, Loststar grows tired of his yapping and slams the elder's face right into the wall, causing his nose to swell and bleed. Disorientated and in disbelief, Shepherdscourge says his final words, of course ignored by Loststar, before exiting the den. Loststar's first gathering pronounced as TundraClan's new leader. He hears the other three clan's news before he announces his own, subtly admitting that he believes Smudgestar to be dead since he was given his nine lives freely by StarClan. After he makes it clear he'll be offering no help whatsoever to FallClan and PetalClan after the devastating events of the fire, Shadowpaw suddenly bursts out in fury at her leader, but she's quickly hushed by Bumblebuzz, much to Loststar's annoyance. The gathering goes on without much issue and eventually finishes, in which Loststar wanders straight over to Shadowpaw and drags her by her horns across the lake, practically water-boarding her as the horned-cats depart. Loststar comes across Foxstar’s son, Pineconepounce, on the border. Loststar murders him and leaves his mutilated body on the border for a FallClan patrol to find. After the fierce battle he had with the deceased FallClanner, Loststar seeks medical attention and proceeds to take a nice dip in the hot spring pools late at night. Beachstar suddenly approaches him, bloodied and injured from losing her first life to her sister, Lionfish. Loststar is quick to offer her aid, leading her into the pool so she could relax as they conversed. After Beachstar explains the cause of her injuries and has had time to rest, Loststar leads her closer to SunClan territory and is ecstatic at the brief mention of a potential friendship and alliance. The pair weren’t able to discuss much about it, however, as a search party consisting of SunClan’s medicine cat and some knights came across the two. Beachstar was escorted home and Loststar departed back to camp. Loststar calls for a clan meeting in the late evening. Once everyone is gathered, he calls forward Shadowpaw and reveals to the clan a decayed piece of vole. Once he and the rotted prey make it to the ground, he shoves Shadowpaw's face into the prey and forces her to eat it, much to the dismay of the majority of the clan. Rushingstag, Frostfire (who ends up leaving the meeting mid-way) and Galaxygleam try to speak up but they're overall dismissed. He drags the apprentice from her antlers to the camp entrance where he eventually drops her, announcing that she's exiled from camp until tomorrow morning. She reluctantly goes with Wildstorm (upon his request) and Loststar returns to his den, leaving the clan to their inevitable gossiping about the dramatic events of that night. MORE TBA
