Sam

An adventurer and tinkerer at heart, Sam is a fox who wants to know what makes the earth turn. When he fails at something, he takes a step back before jumping at it again. This attitude is one of his greatest assets and has done a great deal in keeping him going, but in the past he's been challenged by it. Growing up, he wanted to fly with his family, and when he got frustrated by his inability to do so, he took it a step too far and nearly plummeted a some few hundred feet to his death. He learned a valuable lesson that day and since then, doesn't complain about being given free rides. He loves to mess around with the newest tech, mostly to see what makes it work and potentially add a little bit of his own ideas onto it. When he's older and traveling less, he has a whole room of his treehouse filled with different modified knickknacks.

Sam was found, wrapped up and shivering by a small family of ice dragons. Normally, ice dragons lived further towards the north, nearer to the settlement of Volkhov, but this family chose to live further south where it's warmer for the sake of their young son, Trick who was a little more sensitive to the chill than most. They took Sam under their wing and raised him alongside their son where they'd form a lifetime bond. If Sam was out and about, good chance Trick was with him.

Sam is a very agile lad and it's from all the years of traversing the natural terrain from a young age. Even so, he's always sure to keep a pair of protective gloves on him. While it took many years of trial and error, Sam comes to build his own treehouse in his adult years, which might be why nothing looks quite like it... He was born with naturally high blood crystallum levels, but since he isn't so interested in magic, his potential for magic goes largely untapped.
