* Nurtures and breeds specialized Cloven bees within his mouth. More than being "proprietary" these bees are like family and friends to Yoshi

Yoshi's bee mouth: 

*Yoshi's saliva is 70% Clover Honey 30% regular saliva. If you are wondering, yes everything he eats tastes like you dipped it into honey*During the cultivation period when the bees exist within his mouth, Yoshi switched to an entirely healthy and vegetarian based meal two weeks prior. If you see him only eating vegetables and balanced meals you know bees-in-mouth is happening soon

Warning ahead; talking about larvae and egg:

*Yoshi's teeth are actually entirely hollow and made out of specialized Proline. When Yoshi's baby (regular) teeth fell out, they were replaced by Proline-honey teeth. They are still as hard as regular teeth. There are no nerve connections. 

*The queen Cloven bee lays the eggs within his teeth so that they can be fertilized with the specialized honey within Yoshi's mouth. The hole are covered over by the queen Colven Bee. After three days they hatch into larvae which they stay within his mouth for the next nine days.

*After two weeks they become Pupae and come out of their "cocoons". This point they are removed into the apiary he carries on his back.

*Once they are fully grown they stay in his mouth for a couple hours every other day to get important nutrients they need to survive
