Friend

He was once a human, but became what he is now when he set foot on the wrong farm. His real name was Rupert, a well known rogue in the city of Guillever, one of the most wanted thief there is in town. His main target, farms, he steals crops from those farmers to hold a feast for himself. He's selfish, cruel and glutton. He remained uncaptured until one fateful night, in that one farm that is said to be dangerous, very dangerous, that is believed to be cursed by many.

Despite it all, he ignored all the warnings that he received and continued his plan, for it is the biggest farm in town. But unfortunately for him, all the rumors said were true, and he experienced it first hand. He was captured by a witch that settles on the said farm, he was overpowered and was imprisoned for days, months even. He was punished and tortured by the witch due to his acts, and when he was in the verge of his death, the witch put a curse on him, a curse that will make him protect every farm in the town of Guillever for all eternity. His body then became the shape of a scarecrow, his internal organs and the skin on his face, still intact in a body made of wood and steel.

He then became the newest hero of every farmer, he became the guardian of all farms in Guillever. He was then named "Friend" by many because of his righteous acts. It may sound heroic for some, but unfortunately for him though, once he became like that, he lost all the control he has over his own body, it's as if the body has a mind of its own. Adding fuel to the fire, he still is conscious and could still feel everything, whether physical or emotional. So sadly for him, he's forever imprisoned in a body that he doesn't own anymore. But little did he know that the witch actually gave him a chance, there is actually a way to lift the said curse, though no one except the witch knows how to lift it. But surely, Friend would figure it out sooner or later, or wouldn't, we'll never know for sure.
