THE BISHOP

A Smile Without a Face

Created in 1973, The Bishop hails from a popular gothic platformer known as "Dead Stork". Players were tasked with playing as an unnamed cop trapped within a labryinthian Church, where the corrupt forms of those who used their faith to deceive came to hunt him. The Bishop was a common and weak enemy in Dead Stork, but in the real world, it's nothing if not a terrifying force to be reckoned with. Appearing lethargic, mindless and solitary, The Bishop's demeanor and outward appearance make for a monster that many wouldn't think could bolster much visciousness. It doesn't make a sound as it lumbers through the brush, hunting down those who have caused great discordance in the lives of others; or even in their own.

Nevertheless, it seems that when on the prowl, it always finds its prey. It's able to shift from sluggish and sedentary to the speed of a bullet in the blink of an eye, and its stature is perfect for ramming and bursting into whatever locale it needs to when in search of its target.
