Profile
(I decided to condense them all in one character profile since they were like mini-characters)
I call these emotion personifications, and they were a small interesting concept I tried in August 2020. They were technically my first try at personifications since I have little experience making any myself.
In general, I find analyzing emotions and making them into metaphors to be a gratifying creative exercise, and I tend to do it while emotions are recurring.
These characters are regular humans for the most part. Their defining aspect is their jobs, which represent the function of the emotions they represent. Their personalities have to do with what motivates them to do their jobs.
Unlike regular humans, the emotions can be employed by many people at once, which represents people feeling these emotions. The actions these emotions carry out is pretty much dependent on their employers, and it's never always "good" or "bad." These emotions will never be unable to find employment, because they are always needed for something or perceived to be needed for something.
