Fern always comes off as a kind older brother to all he meets, you can't help but feel relaxed/safe when your with him.
Plants have always been a big part of Ferns life, which is why he became a wild Florist, so he can spread the joy of plants to everyone. Ferns light shines his way home, so he never gets lost...he may also be scared of the dark.

Background
Fern has always lived in Old Wood Grove, the forest brings him great comfort that helps him feel relaxed. Fern owns his own Flower Market, where he grows and sells all kinds of different wild plants, though his main intrest seems to be carnivorous plants.
Fern meet Jayson when they came to Old Wood Grove on a job. Jayson had stopped at his shop to buy some flowers for their sister and the two immediately hit it off. Fern loved how easy it was to make Jayson blush and asked them if they would like to come over for dinner that night. The two started dating and quickly feel deeper and deeper in love, Jayson moved to Old Wood Grove only after a month of dating and within the next 4 the two were married.
A few months after the two had been married, Jayson started talking about kids. They both knew they wanted kids but they honestly didn't know if either of them where ready or prepared for one. The two decied to check out one of the smaller orphanages and met Miko. With in another 2 month Miko was adopted and living with them.
