+✾Wasabi✾+

A mysterious chimera like creature whom originated from the isolated parts of North East Asia. He has the blood of a Qilin and dragon, but mixed with more common such as a Lion, Wolf, and Snake. He can slightly alter his apperance to look more Lion, Wolf, or Snake like, but his base apperance is that of a wolf with strange coloring and traits and He can not truly shapeshift. He appears to have an immortal lifespan and those who have seen him revere him as a diety or creature of omen. Several have left offerings to him to appease him, but he does not understand these customs and usually ignores them. However, he did sample wasabi paste from the offering as the smell was irresistable to him. He took on the name Wasabi after tasting the best thing to him.

Whether or not Wasabi was manmade or naturally occured is unclear. Some legends depict him as a creature created by demons who stole the traits of sacred animals to create a monster of war. Others depict him as a God that was sent to observe humaity, and will devour the souls of others if they are deemed evil when they die. The truth to Wasabi's purpose is unknown, even to Wasabi himself. He prefers to live isolated away from any other creatures on the treacherous snowtopped mountains. If one dares to climb such a dangerous mountain top and gets stranded or stuck in danger, they will pass out, seeing a faint image of a creature with blood red horns. They will awake later on at the base of the mountain near the village, confused on how they ended up there.

Wasabi doesnt hate humans, but ever since his trust in them was broken, He no longer desires to intermingle with them or speak to them. He uses telepathy to communicate with other creatures in their native languages. (including animals) This is how he ended up befriending some villagers in a small mountain town. He would spend decades observing the town from a distance, so generations of humans grew up seeing him on the outskirts of town. It took almost a century for Wasabi to become trustful to humans thanks to an event where a small child wandered out of town, unaware of the dangers that lurked in the surrounding woods. Wasabi saw this and followed the child from a distance until the child encountered an aggressive bear. Wasabi dashed in without thinking, and subdued the bear although he got injured in the process. The child was terrified and ended up frozen crying until a search party found them later. The town was shocked that Wasabi would protect a human as he never interacted with them before despite attempts by the humans. They took in Wasabi to treat his wounds as he was passed out due to losing a lot of blood. (to be continued)
