On the outside, Tsukiko appears to be a quiet and rather reserved girl, avoiding being the center of attention. She is very shy and struggles with interacting with people she doesn't know well, and on top of that, she's easily flustered and very clumsy. This makes her the perfect victim for being teased, which she secretly enjoys. In front of her friends she shows her cheerful, bubbly side and is often seen making jokes and puns. But she also knows when it is best to be serious and can act mature and reliable too. Despite her shyness, she is kind to everyone, open-minded and really tolerant. It can even get to the point where she cares too much about others and neglects her own needs. She is a hard-working person, very passionate about things she loves and always tries to put her best into everything. Her own values are very important to her and she wants to be true to herself.
Tsukiko was born in 1996 and grew up in a small town in the Miyagi prefecture. Coming from a rather big and wealthy family, she had a happy and even a bit spoiled childhood. She always got what she wanted and never really had to worry about anything. With her father being a doctor and her mother working as a nurse Tsukiko would often end up alone at home and got used to taking care of her little sister. They also spent a lot of time at their grandparents or other relatives in Sendai.
Her parents always put some sort of subtle academic pressure on her. Tsukiko tried very hard to please them and meet their expectations when she was younger. She attended elementary school and then Hisa Junior High, where she joined a calligraphy club. At school, however, she never had any good friends.
