A pencil-pusher angel mistakenly assigned to be the parole officer of the demon Sitri. Thought stuffy and uptight by most of his coworkers, even his superiors. Doesn't get away from his work much, and can be naive (sometimes willfully ignorant) about the sociopolitical situation in Hell. Clashes with Sitri constantly over their vastly different moral codes, but is also finding, to his horror, that he is growing more and more fond of Sitri as they spend more time together.
