- His mother is Lauressa Vartanian and his father is Aviur Vartanian; his mother passed shortly after he was born and his father raised him. Once grown and working as a high school science teacher, he began to take care of his father, considering it was the least he could do for all the sacrifices made so he could grow into a successful man. For this reason, Hurik set his life aside until his father's passing, using these later years of his life to seek out enjoyment and happiness.
- His grandmother, Yeghisabet Vartanian was present for much of Hurik's childhood living in their home and assisting his father in raising the young man. Her husband, Byuregh died before the family moved from their homeland and Hurik often heard of him as a hardworking man who won his grandmother's heart and drew her away from the promise of a comfortable life lived in wealth, for the promise of true love.
