Prince of the seaside kingdom , alongside his brother Akio. While Akio was the sunlight that brought light to the kingdom , Riku was the water that flowed through the towns to bring life to all. The quieter prince who supported his brother from the shadows , after Akio's disappearance he has been forced into the frontlines ; even then , however , there is a deep shadow that resides over the kingdom after Akio's disappearance , and it shows strongest through Riku.

While his attitude in front of the people remains /mostly/ the same , people can tell that there is tension and a darkness in Riku's heart ; they attribute this darkness to the mourning of his brother , and they are half right. Deep down , in truth , he has grown obsessive in his various goals that are stretching him thin , causing him to act erratically at moments ( including kidnapping a god )
