Lucinda was born an original human. which means she was one of the first people ever created by the Divines at the beginning of time. She lived a very ordinary and happy life as she had found a husband during her adult years. Lucinda did her best every day to make herself and her husband happy. Hoping that it would only get better for them, and maybe eventually have their own children.
Her husband was a very accomplished man. Someone she was very proud of. Lucinda would often brag about his accomplishments to the towns people - however once Sin was rampant all over the realms, influencing the mortals, that is when they discovered jealousy. This jealousy was so strong for the townspeople that they ended up unaliving her husband. Before they could get to Lucinda, the monsters of sin ambushed their town.
Lucinda felt defeated, so instead of fighting for her life… she gave up her life to those monsters. The sin of Lust pierced her through the heart. Infecting her body with its corroded blood. The monsters then disappearing once she was experiencing the pain inflicted onto her. Within a few days, she was now Lust. The towns people and her husband were already slaughtered, so she had nothing more there for her. She had nowhere to go.
Thats where Pride appeared. Introducing himself to her, explaining what was happening As it did for him, too. Immediately she was thrown off by how similar Pride and her husband looked alike. She even stated how much he looked like him with a nervous chuckle.
But it would come to be that Pride does have his looks and is accomplished, but they didn’t share the same personality. Lust didn’t care as her main goal was to get with Pride so she could feel like she was with her husband again. Over the years, it went from a goal to an obsession. Her infatuation with him was unnerving and downright scary.
In the end, she truly became one of the worst villains in this book series. Starting off with lying about who told the Heavens about Pride‘s girlfriend, who got killed before him. She got Greed into trouble, all because she didn’t particularly like him meddling.
In truth, Pride doesn’t even like her. Once he found out about her infatuation, he tried his damn best to stay away from her.
throughout this entire series, Lust would completely destroy lives by manipulating lies into their heads.
