Personality: Varytis is an awkwardly social, but lazy trash collector who likes to chat quite a bit with others, but will snap at you if you try to take his food or something off his ship or tell him to stop obsessing over fast ships he won't fit in, and might likely make you his next meal if you try. He is obsessed with spaceships and can be faster than his own before activating a hyperdrive, but it's not like he'd get very far before he gets hungry and turns back to it if there's nothing to eat around. His tail has no personality of its own despite occasionally doing things without Varytis consciously wanting it to.

Abilities/Traits:

• Quasar stomachs: Varytis is able to eat and digest almost any material they can get their hands on with their multiple stomachs. The gravity well of them can grind up food like waste processing equipment. 
• Tailmaw: A 3-petaled prehensile tail maw able to be manipulated to eat or grab something, though it can subconsciously grab and swallow things itself. it lacks its own mind, though it does have it's own stomach at the base of the tail to hold or pre-digest things much like Varytis' upper taur half, before it's fully processed by the quasar stomachs.
• Hawking Beam: A beam of hawking radiation produced from the particle/anti-particle nature of a black hole's borders. It grows stronger the fuller Varytis is, and can be fired from either maw.
• Nebula gasses: as a hybrid, Varytis is also able to fire plasma beams and breathe out nebula gasses, though these aren't as strong as his hawking beam, but can still be fired from either maw. 
• Nebula vernier vents: a set of vents on Varytis' body that can eject plasma and nebula gasses in order to maneuver Varytis with greater speed and agility for his size. Despite this, he is still much slower than a comet dragon.
• Gravity manipulation: Varytis is really good at gravity manipulation, able to even form black holes and slow/stop time. Though he can use this to do things like change direction of his beams or body quickly or slingshot things at greater speed, he typically uses his abilities to draw his food into a gravity well, if not condense large masses into a bite-sized package to swallow.
• Matter manipulation: Varytis can manipulate matter around him if he wishes, but he cannot do things like create life. it mainly comes off as more of a party trick as he either forms planets or trinkets to show off, or pull accumulated material from his belly's gravity well off his belly to chow down on.

Likes:

• Eating: Varytis will eat anything he can, and a full Varytis is a happy Varytis. his vents leak nebula gas if he over-eats too quickly, his belches releasing nebula gas too.
• Lazing about in zero-G: Sometimes he "dances" around with his verniers, much like that scene from Wall-e.
• Spaceships: There's a lot to do on one. He might not fit in a small, speedy one, but he likes watching them zoom around.

Dislikes:

• Being hungry: By the time he is that hungry, his stomach will always be noisier than he could ever manage to be.
• Being blown off: "It's rude, even if I am a 'stupid trash eater'."
• Perfume: It just makes him hungry.

• When Varytis uses any of his abilities, he tends to get hungrier faster.
• Varytis' love for spaceships makes him a great mechanic, though he mainly works on his modified junker transport ship
• Varytis' lower belly appears fatter than it actually is due to his 2 lower bellies in his lower taur section's complex pipework.
