Nicodemus

Nico is a rough and tumble kind of dude. He's got an overall cool demeanor and it takes a whole lot to rile him up, but he's constantly engaging with the underbelly of society anyways. Perhaps in a desperate attempt to feel something or just to protect those he sees as worth protecting, he's a school delinquent. And if you tick him or his folks off you're likely to find a baseball bat to your head.

He was childhood friends with Maddie, but drifted away from her as time passed. He's always kept a soft spot for his platypus friend, but realized their roles in society were far too different... especially as he was further engulfed in his life of crime. They interact occassionally but it's for the most part awkward... and there's a sense of sadness to the way they interact.

At least up until recently. As Maddie's gotten wrapped up in the murder mystery of month she's made a whole lot of enemies, and Nico's made it his duty to protect her from the shadows. Will this be their chance to recconect? Or will his aloof, above it all demeanor be what tears them apart once and for all?
