The mysterious host club owner where Hana and Kaoru both work at. Despite his youthful appearance, Edel is in his forties and often makes remarks of 'being an old man'. Despite his gentle and caring demeanor, there are times Edel acts much colder, hinting at a darker past..

Story

As a young revelrie, Edel grew up in hard times. His father was an abusive alcoholic who often put himself into debt. Unfortunately for Edel, the money his father borrowed was from less than savory people. One day, Edel woke up to find no trace of his father and a group of scary people at the door. With no money left in the house, the men took Edel away to be sold into labor. 

For the next 10 years, Edel was forced to become a criminal, bearing witness to traumatizing scenarios. During this he mastered his affinity and was a highly skilled fighter, but it wasn't enough for the group. Eventually Edel was taken in and experimented on in hopes of making him more powerful. His affinity was increased, but it came at the price of putting massive strain on his body. Resigned to wasting away in the group Edel continued fulfilling his missions.

However, one day Edel had an unusual target for a job. Going in for the kill as usual, the strange middle aged man seemed to effortlessly avoid Edel's attacks. Even using everything he had, Edel didn't stand a chance. Realizing his failure he was prepared to be killed, but the man only laughed and offered Edel a hand. Spending time with the man, Edel realized he wasn't bound to the group forever and had the power to make it on his own. Taking out the members of the group he ended everything and was able to move on. After than Edel never saw the strange man, but vowed he would do the same to those in trouble and found an old abandoned host club, reviving it and taking in wayward souls.

Due to being experimented on, Edel's body doesn't visually age, but he still physically ages and is noticeably weaker than he was in his prime, still incredibly strong and could easily take on both Hana and Kaoru without breaking a sweat.

Design Points:

The tufts of feathers on his head are not ears! He has one set of normal human ears. His wings have tips made of light.
