Dakota von Wolfenstein

Dakota v. Wolfenstein is the current Commanding General of Requill's army and the eldest child of Ex-King Gandthreel Wolfenstein. She is particularly known for taking control of Requill after her father's death and ruled the country until the heir was seen fit to rule.

Dakota was born in a rural village on Anashiah's wastes to Andromeda Holt, the village's healer. Dakota grew up learning Old Norse, but eventually came to have a brother at the age of three. At the age of six, a raid from the King's Guard killed her mother and severly injured her brother. This led Dakota to run away in the course of action and come apon a Requillian trade ship. She snuck on board and stayed there until Requillian Guards found her the next week and back at Requill. She was taken to the King and Queen, not able to understand or speak English or German. The merciful Queen gave in and took her in, later learning she was the result of Gandthreel's previous escape to Anashiah after the burning of the old Fort Darion. Dakota eventually came to grow up in the Fort and was raised up in the middle of a brewing war. At the age of sixteen, Dakota's left arm was biten off by a Manticore, which severly altered the way she fought and held herself. Several years later and following an arranged marriage with a Worian noble, Dakota gave birth to twin sons and raised them mostly alone in Wornworth. Her husband grew abusive and neglectful, going far as to damage one son's hearing and severly scar the other. When the boys turned fifteen, Dakota murdered her husband and escaped to Requill with her sons.

The second of Dakota's sons was brutally murdered at the age of 19, leaving his brother and grieving wreck and his mother a distraught mess. Dakota eventually moved further away and settled in Anashiah, where she ended up meeting her wife.
